Do you need assistance with machining in the form of milling?

We’d be only pleased to be of help, with a focus on your requirements, processes and products. Verkstadsbolaget, which is a metalworking shop, has extensive experience in the milling of most materials, whilst ensuring a high quality of the finished products. Verkstadsbolaget strives for close and open cooperation with you in order to ensure the production of a good and stable product.

Your products are manufactured at our metalworking shop. Our expertise in material alloys and our manufacturing competence enable us to maintain a high level of quality, while our measuring department safeguards the geometry of the items with a coordinate measuring machine before they are shipped to you, the client.

In addition to the most common types of steel, we also work with materials including Inconel, SMO, titanium, POM and bronze, to name but a few.

More and more companies are coming to Verkstadsbolaget for production. So, we can provide a number of good references in this respect.

CNC milling

If your manufacturing process employs machining in the form of vertical milling, we can assist you with products with a length of up to 3,000 mm, width of up to 1,000 mm and height of up to 800 mm. All our CNC mills are equipped with measuring probes for precise positioning.

In our Bed type milling machine we can manage up to L6000xW1300xH2000mm​.

Beredning och konstruktion

3D

We receive 3D files for CNC development and programming so that we can go from drawing to ready detail as quickly as possible. All CNC mills in our metalworking shop are integrated with the GIBBS CAD/CAM system and can work with full 3D for free form milling. If at all possible, we’d prefer to receive the files in STEP or IGES format.

In our CNC 5-axle grinder we can run several operations without re gripping the piece. This saves time and money to our customers.

In our Bed type milling machine we can run big pieces up to 6000x1500mm with turning head.

Traceability

If you have traceability requirements in respect of raw materials by means of batch numbers or certificates, we can provide this in production and in our Monitor business system.

Finishing

We can also assist with finishing if you require this for your products. Verkstadsbolaget has good cooperation partners in its immediate vicinity that work with galvanisation, nickel electroplating, powder coating and wet coating, as needed.
